Garments of Praise

"Make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty. Speak to all the skillful, whom I have filled with a spirit of skill, that they make garments to consecrate him for my priesthood. For Aaron's sons make coats and sashes and caps, make them also for glory and beauty. Put them on Aaron and on his sons, and anoint, ordain, and consecrate them, that they may serve my priesthood." (from Exodus 28)

We are not called to serve as Aaron and his son's did in the priestly line, but Jesus has called us his royal priesthood, his holy nation. We should wear garments of praise that reflect Jesus glory and beauty, he consecrated us, set us apart in this world. Apostle Paul instructs us not to conform to the patterns of this world, but to be transformed by a new mindset in Jesus Christ. God is all-knowing, zealous and passionate about his people, Isaiah describes him as wrapped in a cloak of zeal. Should our garments not reflect this inner transformation? Should our garments no reflect our desire to live for His purpose? Garments for glory and beauty and praise that are holy, pleasing and acceptable to God.

We don't want more Christian accessories! We do want peculiar passionate people in garments for His glory.
